We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager to join our team at EBSCO Information Services. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling our products to academic institutions, medical libraries, and corporate libraries in the states of Alabama and Northern Florida.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all product lines and categories, including Full Text Databases on EBSCOhost and Software as a Service Solutions.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve established sales growth and renewal quotas.
- Provide formal pricing proposals, literature, and coordinate trials with account executives as needed.
- Prepare and deliver presentations driven by the solution sales process.
- Travel 70% of the time, including in-person meetings with customers and prospects, attendance of conferences and sales meetings.
- Achieve an expert level of knowledge of EBSCO products and competition.
- Provide input from the market for product development and marketing purposes.
- 7+ years of sales experience selling in the academic field.
- Experience with SaaS and information service sales a plus.
- Previous travel experience and ability to travel 70%.
- Must live in the assigned territory.
- Must have proven communication, follow-up, and sales skills.
We offer a competitive salary range of $109,000 to $156,000 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth and development.
