Ashland, Massachusetts, United States Community Servings Full time
About Community Servings
We are committed to actively engaging the community to provide medically tailored, nutritious meals to chronically and critically ill individuals and their families. Our mission is rooted in prioritizing racial and economic justice and health equity in all our programs and business practices.

We are a dynamic and fast-growing agency at the forefront of the 'Food is Medicine' field, providing over 1M medically tailored meals annually to clients and their families experiencing illness and food insecurity in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. In addition to our meal provision, we support the regional local food system, deliver high-quality nutrition education to the community, and host an on-site food-service workforce development program. Over the past 34 years, we have provided 13M+ free, scratch-made meals.

Job Description
The Public Health Liaison will play a critical role in building awareness about Community Servings' nutrition programming and promoting partnerships with health centers, physician practices, and other referral partners. This individual will work closely with the Program team to ensure that referrals are properly managed and that referral partners receive necessary support to effectively connect clients to our services. The Liaison will also collaborate with the Communications team to develop outreach materials and strategies to promote Community Servings' services and build relationships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities
This is a hybrid position, requiring in-person work at our offices in Jamaica Plain and Mansfield, as well as meetings, presentations, and visits with external referral partners and the ability to work remotely as needed. Key responsibilities include developing relationships with referral partners, coordinating outreach efforts, providing technical assistance to referral partners, collaborating with the Program team, establishing and maintaining outreach schedules for themselves and Community Servings content experts, providing background information to Community Servings staff in advance of external speaking engagements, collaborating with the Grants team, identifying opportunities for Community Servings clinical staff to present at Continuing Medical Education (CME) events within the referrer community, maintaining and synthesizing feedback from referral partners, working with Data Analyst and Salesforce Administrator to implement referring provider database and other tracking tools, and performing other similar job-related duties as required or directed. We estimate the salary for this position to be around $65,000-$75,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
