About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Patient Access Coordinator to join our team at Arbour Hospital. This is a part-time position, working weekends and overnights, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care and support. The successful candidate will have a Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited college/university, or a Licensed RN in Massachusetts. Prior psychiatric experience is required, and knowledge of DSM-V diagnostic criteria, mental status exam, and addiction and recovery field is essential.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills, able to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. They will also have a strong understanding of electronic medical records systems and be able to accurately enter information. The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Coordinate referrals and intake processes
* Facilitate admissions and maintain communication with stakeholders
* Verify and prior authorize insurance benefits as needed
* Accurately enter information into electronic medical records system
* Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient information

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a strong background in social work, counseling, or psychology, with a minimum of 1 year of prior psychiatric experience. Knowledge of DSM-V diagnostic criteria, mental status exam, and addiction and recovery field is essential. A working knowledge of electronic medical records systems and ability to accurately enter information is also necessary.
