About the Role:
Duly Health and Care is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, and collecting health history
- Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, and other first aid procedures
- Assist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, and update charting and filing
- Conduct onsite lab testing, including EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose, and urine pregnancy tests
- Maintain clean, warm, and inviting examination rooms for patient visits
- Provide excellent customer service, exemplifying Duly Health and Care's CARE values
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- CPR certification or willingness to become certified upon hire required
- May require phlebotomy certification to be completed within 90 days of hire
- Prior experience working as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT, or 2 years of prior experience working in a medical office assisting with patient care
