Job Summary:

Duly Health and Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as an Oncology Site Nurse. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continuity and quality of care for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize advanced computer functions and interact with clinic staff and physicians to facilitate patient flow and optimize care coordination.
  • Complete patient forms, prior authorization forms, and manage in-baskets and patient messages in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with referral coordinators and healthcare professionals to manage Oncology work queues and ensure seamless patient care.
  • Manage complex patient cases, including Pomalyst and Revlimid patients, and educate patients on registration processes and survey completion.
  • Assist the pharmacy team with paperwork for oral oncolytics and coordinate Peer-to-Peer reviews with physicians and insurance companies.

Requirements:

  • Current license to practice as a professional nurse in the State of Illinois.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Preferred one year of oncology experience in a medical setting, such as a doctor's office or hospital.
