Position Overview:
We are seeking a Medical Administrative Assistant to enhance our Clinical Administration team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of our hospital and its business functions.

Key Responsibilities:
The primary focus of this position includes:

  • Developing and managing staffing schedules for veterinary staff, making necessary adjustments to accommodate unforeseen circumstances.

The secondary focus involves:

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to the medical leadership team, which encompasses:
  • Calendar management and coordination of various meetings, including DVM rounds and intern rotations.
  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies.
  • Processing invoices and managing correspondence.
  • Acting as the primary liaison for relief veterinarians.
  • Collaborating with HR and management.
  • Preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation as needed.

Compensation:
The wage range for this position is $24-$29/hr, commensurate with education, certifications, and experience.

Work Environment:
This role primarily operates on-site, with the flexibility to work remotely up to one day per week.

  • Proficiency in administrative software, including Microsoft Office and practice management tools.
