Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a key member of our emergency veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our veterinarians and other support staff, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care, including administering medications, performing diagnostic tests, and maintaining patient records.
- Collaborate with our veterinarians and other support staff to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care and a positive work environment.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.
- Assist with the coordination of patient care, including scheduling appointments and communicating with clients.
- Credentialed as a veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the location of the VEG practice.
- 1+ years of experience in a veterinary technician role, with a preference for experience in emergency or specialty medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods, lift up to 25 kg, and support up to 40 kg with assistance.
