Business Development Manager

Voyager Consultants is a leading consulting firm that specializes in crafting business development and customer acquisition strategies for clients across various industries. We are a dynamic team located in Southern California and are known for our relentless attitude towards achieving expansive growth and pursuit for excellence.
We partner with brand name communication providers and assist in driving new customer acquisition and propelling their brand recognition and market share. Due to increased demand in Southern California, we are seeking to add a Sales and Marketing Professional to our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop sales opportunities by connecting with potential customers throughout the local area and discussing the available services
- Identify qualified leads, acquire contact information, and connect with prospects to create a sales pipeline
- Build sustainable relationships with potential customers by utilizing active listening and relationship building skills to maintain engagement and interest throughout the sales process
- Maintain a working knowledge of the services available and scheduling requirements
- Collaborate with the Senior Sales staff and clientele to maintain a lead generation database and create repeat business
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications or entrepreneurship is highly preferred, but not required
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, lead generation, marketing, promotions, or business development with a track record and reputation for high performance
- Excellent communication, presentation, relationship building and consultation skills
- Entrepreneurial-minded self-starter with a passion for business, sales, and working with animals
- Relentless work ethic and appetite for personal and professional growth
