Key Responsibilities- Regulatory Compliance: Serve as a liaison between our organization and various regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with agency standards, including accreditation, state departments of health, FDA, and other regulatory bodies.
- Patient Safety and Quality Improvement: Promote and facilitate patient safety and quality improvement activities by working collaboratively with staff as needed.
- Accreditation and Licensing: Prepare for accreditation, state department of health, and other regulatory agency surveys, ensuring that all requirements have been fulfilled.
- Policy Development and Implementation: Develop, implement, and audit accreditation and licensing-related company policies, procedures, and assessments.
- Education and Training: Educate internal and external clinicians, as well as PHS's patients, families/caregivers, and customers on quality and safety best practices.
- Communication and Coordination: Serve as the point person for any questions, problems, and issues related to accreditation and other regulatory agency issues.
- Process Improvement: Drive process improvement by managing the clinical process improvement groups/initiatives.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify problems and implement resolutions with new systems or performance measures.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field.
- Clinical License: Registered Nurse (RN) license or other related clinical license.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Home Health or Hospice care.
- Skills: Exceptional critical-thinking, research, communication, and analytical skills; strong sense of ethics and professionalism; high level of organizational, multi-tasking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
