Job Description

At ClinDCast LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Quality Audit Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of clinical quality and patient safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough audits of clinical data to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide training and education to staff on clinical quality and patient safety best practices
  • Monitor and analyze clinical data to identify trends and areas for improvement

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of clinical EHR experience
  • Working knowledge of ICD-10 codes
  • Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology
  • Effective written, verbal, and electronic communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse population
  • Attention to detail and ability to proficiently read and interpret medical records
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions; must be able to think logically and critically
  • Strong organizational, prioritization and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA Privacy & Security

Proficiency in computer skills:

  • Outlook, Excel, Word, OneNote, Visio, PowerPoint, Teams
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records systems (e.g. Epic, GE Centricity, NextGen etc.)
  • Ability to work in a high-volume production environment
  • Ability to perform audits within specified parameters of quality and timeliness

Education:

LVN, LPN, or RNConsideration for Certified Medical Coder (CPC) dependent on experience and competency assessment
