Job Title: Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations

Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana is a leading hunger relief organization in the state, serving a 21-county area and operating as a contract reclamation site for Kroger Central Division. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in securing principal gifts from corporations and foundations to support our mission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward gifts from corporations and foundations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate and foundation representatives, ensuring a deep understanding of their priorities and goals.
  • Design and implement a stewardship program to retain and upgrade donors, ensuring a strong foundation for future fundraising efforts.
  • Collaborate with the communications and marketing team to develop and maintain supporting materials for proposals, reports, and recognition on social media and the website.
  • Supervise and develop the corporate and foundation relations team, providing guidance on portfolio management and professional development.
  • Conduct ongoing prospect research to identify new corporate and foundation donors, ensuring a robust pipeline of potential supporters.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Five years or more experience in non-profit fundraising, with a proven track record of success.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to present information to diverse audiences.
  • Strong math skills, with the ability to analyze data and prepare reports.
  • Experience with coordination and preparation of project budgets, with a focus on fiscal responsibility.
  • Continuous improvement methodology, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
