Job Title: Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations

Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana is a leading hunger relief organization in the state, serving a 21-county area and operating as a contract reclamation site for Kroger Central Division. We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan to secure gifts from corporations and foundations. This includes identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding relationships with key stakeholders to achieve maximum impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure principal gifts from corporations and foundations.
  • Manage a portfolio of assigned donors and prospects, ensuring retention and upgrading of their giving and involvement.
  • Design and implement a stewardship program to enhance donor retention and upgrading.
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate and foundation leaders to create and sustain multi-year engagement.
  • Develop and write proposals, reports, and other fundraising materials to support the organization's funding needs.
  • Supervise and mentor corporate and foundation relations staff to ensure successful execution of fundraising goals.
  • Collaborate with communications and marketing staff to develop supporting materials for proposals, reports, and recognition on social media and website.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Five years or more experience in non-profit fundraising, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong math skills with the ability to analyze data and prepare reports.
  • Experience with donor database systems/CRM and online advocacy tools.
  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
