Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Specialist III to join our team at Broward College. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our department, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the department, including answering phones, responding to emails, and handling correspondence.
- Assist with budgeting, procurement, and financial administration.
- Coordinate meetings, events, and appointments for supervisors.
- Prepare and distribute agendas, minutes, and other documents as needed.
- Perform data entry, recordkeeping, and other administrative tasks.
- Develop and maintain databases, files, and records.
- Communicate effectively with employees, departments, and external constituents.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
- Three to five years of administrative experience required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Workday preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
