Job Summary

This part-time position provides general office support in a high-volume area, requiring a general knowledge of basic office systems and procedures. The successful candidate will perform routine and similar clerical duties under general supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general office support or clerical support to a work area (50% of daily tasks)
  • Take messages, greet, and direct others to the appropriate person for assistance (30% of daily tasks)
  • Prepare routine documents, fax, photocopy, and prepare materials (15% of daily tasks)
  • Perform related duties as assigned (5% of daily tasks)
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent required
  • One year of office experience preferred
  • An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered
Preferred Qualifications
  • Standard computer and telephone skills
  • Ability to speak a foreign language preferred
  • Some positions may require additional telephone communication skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse population of students, faculty, and staff
