The Test Engineering Manager is pivotal in the design and execution of Loft's satellite initiatives. This role encompasses the leadership of a dedicated team of test engineers and technicians, focusing on the development and implementation of testing protocols for hardware across various product levels.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of testing activities for all satellite production, ensuring alignment with quality, schedule, and budgetary goals.
• Manage a diverse team of engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve project objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and program managers to ensure that testing activities align with overall program goals.
• Develop and implement strategies for efficient integration and testing processes, including the adoption of automation technologies.
• Ensure the proper setup and operation of testing facilities and equipment, adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Lead test readiness reviews and participate in design and requirements reviews to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Analyze test data, document results, and prepare comprehensive reports to support design validation and certification efforts.
• Manage resources, timelines, and budgets associated with testing activities.
• Stay informed on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in aerospace testing and integration.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Proven leadership experience in satellite production and testing.
• Demonstrated success in implementing cost control and budgeting strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, emphasizing team-building and positive client relations.
• Experience in test requirements management, procedure development, and automation within the aerospace sector.
• Proficiency in software tools such as MS Office Suite, JIRA, Confluence, Grafana, and Python.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead complex projects to successful outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Background in Software or Electrical Engineering with experience in test development.
• Familiarity with hardware/software integration and the development of testing equipment.
