- Engineering Drawings: Create AutoCAD engineering drawings in compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- System Calculations: Perform system calculations for electrical systems, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Testing and Inspection: Establish system testing requirements and assist in equipment inspections and startup, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with project managers, physicists, senior engineers, and technicians to meet project deliverables, contract requirements, and budget constraints.
- Technical Review: Review technical vendor submittals for installation requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with all safety and quality requirements, including adherence to PSC, customer, national, and international standards.
- Project Management: Develop project schedules and manpower requirements, ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Documentation: Create and maintain programmatic and technical documentation, including engineering drawings and system documentation.
- Assembly and Testing: Assist with assembly, testing, and debugging during builds when required, ensuring quality and reliability.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- Experience: 7 or more years of progressively responsible experience in electrical engineering.
- Skills: Knowledge of electrical drafting tools, AutoCAD (or similar drafting program), and Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
