Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Relief Route Sales Representative to join our team at Rich Products Corporation. As a Relief Route Sales Representative, you will be responsible for the direct store delivery of quality products to our supermarket accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a positive relationship with our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Customer Service: Sell all products into all accounts, accurately implement Carvel pricing strategies, and build and maintain positive relationships with supermarket personnel.
  • Product Handling and Transportation: Manage and track inventory, ensure safety, load and unload product from delivery trucks, and maintain supermarket Carvel freezers in a neat manner.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Maintain regular communication with Manufacturing, use data to accurately forecast sales, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in grocery, retail, food service, or related industries in a direct sales, customer service, delivery, or other related position.
  • Valid CDL class B License (must obtain within 30 days of employment) and a clean driving record.
  • Self-motivated, able to take initiative in decision making, punctual, and reliable in work attendance.
  • Professional and organizational and communication skills, solid general computer, math, and analysis skills.
  • 21 years or older, high school diploma or GED, and willing and able to travel overnight out of town up to 75% of the time.
Physical Requirements
  • Driving required, while complying with all traffic laws and maintaining full DOT compliance.
  • Maintaining DOT required medical certification.
  • Extended periods of standing and sitting on a daily basis, extended walking, frequent climbing in and out of Company vehicle daily, lifting not to exceed 55 pounds, and frequent bending, twisting, turning, squatting, and kneeling.
