Job Title: Senior Budget and Accounting Coordinator

At the Chef Ann Foundation, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Budget and Accounting Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for performing budget, accounting, and procedural work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with program staff to build and maintain budgets and projections for the life of each program.
  • Prepare and analyze internal budget vs. actual reports by grant.
  • Prepare external reports based on various agencies' reporting requirements.
  • Work with the Senior Director of Accounting to build monthly financial statements.
  • Act as a liaison with outside payroll contractors for accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Track and monitor timesheet approvals, and holiday and paid-time-off accruals for all staff.
  • Maintain accurate and systematic records of foundation business transactions, ensuring revenue and expenditures are appropriately recorded and allocated by specific program.
  • Record financial data necessary for preparation of monthly financial statements and program-based reports, including payroll allocations.
  • Complete special projects and analysis for management as assigned by the Senior Director of Accounting.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting work.
  • CPA license preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.
  • Advanced expertise in QuickBooks Online required.
  • Nonprofit accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in GSuite platforms.
  • Experience preferred in Microsoft Office and Adobe.
  • Ability to work virtually.
  • Commitment to timely communication and quick feedback to team members.

Compensation:

Compensation ranges between $52,000 - $66,000 per year and will be commensurate with the candidate's previous experience and credentials.
