Job Title: Sr. Indirect Tax Analyst

Crocs is seeking a highly skilled Senior Indirect Tax Analyst to join our tax team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing indirect tax compliance for our North American (NAM) legal entities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of indirect tax returns for all NAM legal entities and sales channels.
  • Stay current with state and local indirect tax rules and their application to the NAM lines of business.
  • Oversee indirect tax accounting for Crocs' NAM companies, including balance sheet reconciliations, journal entry reviews, and advisory to the business on SAP setup and coding for certain transactions.
  • Maintain appropriate procedures and relationships with internal and external resources to ensure effective indirect tax control framework.
  • Review indirect tax workpapers and tax returns prepared by Tax Analyst or third-party firms and develop workpapers and processes for new tax jurisdictions, as needed.
  • Work with auditors to resolve state and local indirect tax examinations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or accounting required. Master's in taxation and/or CPA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with indirect tax compliance and accounting.
  • Experience with SAP is preferred.
  • Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills to a variety of situations.
  • Attention to detail while maintaining the ability to see the big picture.
  • Strong relationship building with internal clients and external service providers.
  • Ability to utilize software applications in creative and innovative ways to streamline complex processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage and meet deadlines.
  • Effectively manage time and operate with sense of urgency.
  • Adapts to changing priorities and conditions and copes effectively with complexity and change.
