About the Role

The Construction Project Manager is a key member of our team who delivers projects with excellence while continually working to build our company's brand. This role provides overall management direction for existing projects, develops new business opportunities, and actively contributes to our marketing efforts in acquiring work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide overall management direction for existing projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Develop new business opportunities through strategic partnerships and marketing efforts.
  • Contribute to the development of our company's marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Manage and coordinate with architects, engineers, and senior management to develop construction projects.
  • Assemble and lead a team of construction professionals, including suppliers, sub-contractors, and consultants.
  • Oversee and supervise construction project progress, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and building codes.
  • Prepare and maintain updated project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
  • Represent our company in project meetings and negotiations.
  • Actively participate in our company's marketing efforts to promote our services and acquire new business.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 6 years of experience as a Project Manager with a General Contractor.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, construction science, engineering, architecture, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time and a team of employees efficiently.
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail, with the ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
  • In-depth understanding of the construction industry, with knowledge of pertinent building codes and regulations.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed, with a desire to contribute to our company's overall success.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and experience with Project Management software.
