Position Overview: As a Lead Technical Production Specialist, you will serve as a proactive leader, guiding and mentoring a team within a dynamic production setting. This role requires a strong technical foundation to execute tasks as outlined in operational guidelines, alongside the ability to troubleshoot technical challenges and pinpoint potential enhancements in production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize Premier WMS and Shopfloor or other databases to oversee inventory and production metrics.
  • Analyze the production schedule and customer demands daily to strategize, finalize initial articles, and communicate production outcomes and challenges.
  • Recognize issues and escalate them appropriately and promptly based on their nature.
  • Set up new machinery and install necessary software and hardware.
  • Reimage or refresh various system platforms and manage data transfers as needed.
  • Calculate and monitor Production KPIs as directed by Production leadership.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues through in-person, phone, and email communication.
  • Exhibit competence in Microsoft Applications, particularly SharePoint and Excel.
  • Physically oversee network access for users in secure locations.
  • Possess a foundational understanding of networking to facilitate IT VLAN modifications and basic troubleshooting of provisioning issues.
  • Hold CompTIA A+ certification or possess equivalent experience.
  • Display attention to detail with the capability to learn intricate processes and methodologies.
  • Identify and communicate observable problem trends, troubleshooting recurring issues to develop lasting solutions.
  • Exemplify excellence as a supportive and adaptable employee in a fast-paced, hands-on, high-pressure environment.
  • Collect project-specific data and report in accordance with project standards.
  • Lead production teams effectively.
  • Train team members and maintain comprehensive training documentation.
  • Adhere to federal and governmental regulations as outlined in the client's statement of work.
  • Ensure compliance among all team members with federal and governmental regulations.
  • Execute kitting functions in WMS to meet customer requirements as specified in the statement of work.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Expertise in computer component installation and imaging.
  • Experience in configuring and troubleshooting Windows devices, Chromebooks, and printers.
  • Ability to reimage or refresh laptops and desktops and manage data transfers accordingly.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
Physical Requirements (with or without accommodation):
  • Capability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent walking, bending, and kneeling, including working under desks.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods, up to 12 hours.
