Position Overview: As a Lead Technical Production Specialist, you will take on a pivotal role in guiding and mentoring a team within a dynamic production setting. This position requires a strong technical foundation to execute tasks as outlined in operational protocols, along with the ability to troubleshoot technical challenges and pinpoint potential enhancements in production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize Premier WMS and Shopfloor or other databases to oversee inventory management and production tracking.
  • Analyze the production schedule and customer demands daily to strategize, complete initial articles, and communicate production outcomes and challenges.
  • Recognize issues and escalate them appropriately and promptly based on their nature.
  • Facilitate the setup of new machinery and the installation of software and hardware.
  • Reimage or refresh various system platforms and manage data transfers as needed.
  • Calculate and monitor Production KPIs as directed by Production leadership.
  • Demonstrate expertise in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues through in-person, phone, and email communications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications, particularly SharePoint and Excel.
  • Physically oversee network access for users in secured environments.
  • Possess a basic understanding of networking related to coordinating IT VLAN modifications and basic troubleshooting of provisioning issues.
  • Hold CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent experience.
  • Detail-oriented with the capability to grasp intricate processes and methodologies.
  • Identify and communicate observable problem trends, troubleshooting recurring issues to develop lasting solutions.
  • Exhibit excellence as an empowering and adaptable employee in a fast-paced, hands-on, high-pressure environment.
  • Collect project-specific data and report in accordance with project guidelines.
  • Lead teams in production activities.
  • Train staff and maintain documentation of training processes.
  • Adhere to federal and governmental regulations as outlined in the client's statement of work.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and governmental requirements for all team members.
  • Execute kitting functions in WMS to meet customer statement of work requirements.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of computer component installation and imaging processes.
  • Experience in configuring and troubleshooting Windows devices, Chromebooks, and printers.
  • Ability to reimage or refresh laptops and desktops while managing data transfers.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
Physical Requirements (with or without accommodation):
  • Capability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent walking, bending, and kneeling; for instance, under desks.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods, up to 12 hours.
