Key Responsibilities- Manage patient reception and registration, including preparation of paperwork and demographic information.
- Collect payments and establish payment plans as needed.
- Respond to patient inquiries and direct them to the appropriate parties.
- Schedule patient appointments and procedures.
- Manage incoming phone calls and provide support to patients, referring providers, and colleagues.
- Conduct outgoing patient correspondence, including appointment confirmations and follow-ups.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to maintain office flow and efficiency.
- Work with centralized teams to ensure necessary authorizations and orders are on file.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service or reception, with medical office experience a plus.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Computer literacy and attention to detail.
This role requires primarily sitting, with occasional standing and walking. Possible exposure to radiation, infectious disease, and bloodborne pathogens. Shifts may vary depending on business needs.
