We are seeking both PART-TIME and FULL-TIME CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALISTS to join our team.

Waterworks Aquatics is a leading swim school with numerous locations across California and Colorado. We provide swimming lessons for individuals ranging from infants to adults. Our goal is to educate and inspire individuals to enhance their safety and master proper swimming techniques.

Position Summary:

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for many of our families at Waterworks Aquatics. You will be responsible for delivering a warm and memorable experience to all our clients. Additionally, you will play a key role in converting inquiries into new client registrations over the phone, with no cold calling involved.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build relationships with new and existing families to foster loyalty and retention.
  • Transform inquiries into new client registrations.
  • Respond to all incoming calls from clients and take appropriate actions.
  • Adhere to call flow scripts and disclosures during all interactions.
  • Encourage clients to purchase swim lesson packages by referencing key offerings.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team to achieve lesson registration targets.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings based on company standards.
  • Address client concerns, provide suitable solutions, and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Recommend additional services by understanding client needs.
  • Assist with outgoing call initiatives as required.
  • Participate in ongoing training and role-playing exercises to enhance skills.
  • Provide effective responses to clients wishing to modify their lesson schedules.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of customer service experience or one year in a call center environment.
  • Prior experience in telephone sales is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Typing proficiency of at least 40 WPM.
  • Availability to work at least one weekend day and weekday evenings.
  • Ability to effectively close sales and acquire new clients.
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Open to coaching and training to improve performance.
  • Excellent communication skills over the phone.
  • Demonstrated active listening abilities.
  • Capacity to adapt to various personality types over the phone.
  • Professional and courteous demeanor with clients.
  • Able to manage a high volume of incoming calls.
