Waterworks Aquatics is a leading swim school with numerous locations across California and Colorado. We provide swimming lessons for individuals ranging from infants to adults. Our mission is to educate and empower individuals to be safer and learn proper swimming techniques.

Position Summary:
As a Customer Service Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for most of our families at Waterworks Aquatics. You will be responsible for ensuring a warm and memorable experience for all our clients. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in converting inquiries into registrations over the phone, with no cold calling involved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture relationships with new and existing families to foster loyalty and retention.
  • Convert inquiries into new client registrations.
  • Handle all incoming calls from clients and take appropriate actions for each interaction.
  • Follow and implement call flow scripts and disclosures during all calls.
  • Encourage clients to purchase swim lesson packages by utilizing a prepared script to highlight key offerings.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team to achieve lesson registration targets.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings based on criteria established by the company.
  • Address client concerns, provide suitable solutions and alternatives, and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Recommend additional services to clients by understanding their needs.
  • Assist with outgoing call projects as per deadlines.
  • Actively participate in and complete various ongoing training and role-play assignments by set deadlines.
  • Provide effective responses to clients who wish to modify their lesson schedules.

General Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of customer service experience or one year of call center experience.
  • Previous telephone sales experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Typing proficiency of at least 40 WPM.
  • Availability to work at least one weekend day and weekday evenings.
  • Ability to effectively close deals and acquire new clients.
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Willingness to receive coaching and training to enhance customer acquisition performance.
  • Excellent communication skills over the phone.
  • Ability to actively listen and respond to various personality types over the phone.
  • Maintain professionalism and courtesy with clients at all times.
  • Capacity to manage a high volume of incoming calls.
