Job Summary

The Product Marketing Associate Intern plays a crucial role in supporting Textron Aviation's product marketing team in developing integrated marketing initiatives. This position focuses on allocating marketing resources to critical company initiatives that drive growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in executing marketing elements within the annual marketing plan and go-to-market strategies for products aligned with strategic business focuses.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including content and digital teams, brand teams, trade shows and events teams, communications teams, technical marketing teams, sales teams, and creative agencies.
  • Develop compelling stories and unique selling propositions for products, backed by facts and analysis, in coordination with the product's overall brand message.
  • Work with outside vendors to supply graphic design needs for the department.
  • Design and create graphic design projects for internal groups and departments, maintaining top proficiency in technical and mechanical areas related to the job scope.
  • Create marketing materials, banners, posters, and visuals to support trade shows and customer events.
  • Engage in personal development and maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.
Qualifications
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Marketing experience preferred.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within demanding timeframes.
  • Professional and diplomatic demeanor, with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Negotiation skills and presentation confidence.
  • Aviation knowledge, including basic flight school completion, is helpful but not required.
Work Environment

The internship is a 10-week program, typically from late-May to early-August, with a 40-hour workweek. Candidates must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. and be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program, unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.
