About the Role

We are seeking an Associate, Relationship Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with our customers and increasing banking activities in our Japanese Corporate Banking Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure financial targets are met across various types of banking services
  • Control and manage costs and risks to improve return on assets
  • Proactively provide information on projects and services to the customer
  • Facilitate a high-quality and impeccable customer experience
  • Understand banking and finance needs of a customer and provide suitable proposals to achieve a win-win outcome
  • Internal and external communication directly and through relevant departments on customer-related matters
  • Proactive involvement in a team environment
  • Facilitate opinions of relevant departments

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in corporate banking and finance with previous experience in a relationship management role
  • Degree in Banking, Commerce, Finance, Accounting discipline, accounting qualification preferred
  • Previous experience in sales and marketing with a sound knowledge of banking products and a demonstrated ability to manage corporate customers
  • Experience working with global customers preferred
  • Good communication skills to report the state of financial condition using clear and precise descriptions
  • MS Office experience with key capabilities in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence others
