Position Overview:
We are actively seeking a Superintendent to oversee luxury single-family home construction projects. This role presents an exciting chance to collaborate with a skilled team of professionals and manage the construction of high-end residential properties. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in construction management, emphasizing safety compliance, subcontractor oversight, time management, blueprint interpretation, site supervision, materials management, knowledge of building regulations, and project oversight.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and manage all phases of luxury residential construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects, adhering to scope and budget constraints.
  • Analyze project blueprints and specifications to guarantee alignment of construction activities with design plans.
  • Supervise subcontractors and onsite personnel, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality benchmarks.
  • Coordinate material procurement, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to confirm compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists to achieve high-quality outcomes in luxury residential properties.
  • Address any issues that arise during construction and implement risk management strategies to prevent delays or budget overruns.
  • Provide ongoing updates and progress reports to stakeholders, including clients, architects, and senior management.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a comparable role within the construction sector, focusing on luxury residential properties.
  • Proven track record in managing subcontractors and ensuring safety compliance on construction sites.
  • Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
  • Proficient in interpreting blueprints and construction plans.
  • Excellent project management capabilities, with the ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting deadlines and budgetary requirements.
  • Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, capable of motivating and managing a diverse group of construction professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with a range of stakeholders, from clients to architects to construction teams.
  • Proficient in construction management software and relevant computer applications.
