Qualifications

Estrem & Co. is seeking motivated individuals with a solid background in construction management or supervisory roles to join our expanding team. As a reputable builder specializing in high-end custom residences and luxury condominium renovations, we are looking for Superintendents who excel in communication and prioritize customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning, scheduling, execution, and coordination of high-quality homes from initial development to final construction, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Engage in managerial oversight of residential projects.
  • Select, coordinate, supervise, and manage personnel, materials, budgets, and timelines.
  • Direct and monitor the progress of various construction projects.
  • Ensure the timely delivery and utilization of materials, uphold construction quality, worker productivity, and adherence to building and safety regulations.
  • Maintain safe, organized, and compliant job sites.
  • Comprehend contracts, blueprints, construction methodologies, and regulations.
  • Track and manage construction expenses against the budget to prevent overruns.
  • Schedule and oversee subcontractors and manage subcontractor relationships to ensure timely project completion.
  • Finalize homes and address all customer walkthrough items prior to project closure.
  • Utilize computer scheduling tools effectively.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to foster positive working relationships with diverse individuals, including upper management, designers, sales teams, trades, vendors, and clients, while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the construction process.
  • Follow up with homeowners to address concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise effectively across various levels and personalities.
  • Inspire building partners to achieve high levels of performance.
  • Manage time efficiently, multitask, and prioritize to meet established objectives and deadlines.
  • Proficient in computer applications for job scheduling, cost management, payroll, and communication with vendors and trades.
  • Exhibit decisiveness, adaptability, and composure under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent organizational, leadership, and communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of construction practices and terminology, with the ability to interpret blueprints and construction documents.
  • Attention to detail and persistence in follow-up.
  • Strong sense of urgency and reliability.
  • Team-oriented and dependable.
  • Ability to remain stationary for up to 50% of the time.
  • Capability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.
  • Report to the Division/Corporate Office/Community daily and adhere to the established schedule.
  • Ability to access, input, and retrieve information using a computer or electronic device.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for face-to-face interactions with customers, colleagues, and higher-level management.
