Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist II SH, Inpatient to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our rehabilitation services team, you will provide diagnosis and treatment of complex communication disorders for adults and children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and administer diagnostic tests to identify communication disorders, voice and swallowing impairment, and neurological defects.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Train and mentor junior therapists to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in developing inservice programs for staff development and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Minimum two years of experience as a Speech Therapist.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist License (California).
  • Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate.
  • Basic Life Support required at hire.
