As a highly skilled Speech Therapist II SH, Outpatient, you will provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of complex communication disorders for adults and children. You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and oversee the work of entry-level staff, while supporting community programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and administer diagnostic tests, providing individualized treatment plans for patients with a variety of communication disorders, voice and swallowing impairments, and neurological defects.
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans, providing training and guidance to junior therapists.
- Develop and maintain department policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Identify opportunities to contain costs and improve services, while assisting with community programs.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Minimum two years of experience as a Speech Therapist.
- Speech-Language Pathologist License (California), National Provider Identifier, and Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate.
- Basic Life Support required at hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local requirements.
- Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
