Kaiser Permanente is seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist II to join our team in South San Francisco, California.

Job Summary:

As a Speech Therapist II, you will be responsible for providing diagnosis and treatment of complex communication disorders for adults and children. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and administer diagnostic tests to identify communication disorders, voice and swallowing impairment, and neurological defects.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective treatment and communication.
  • Provide training and support to junior therapists and participate in staff development programs.
  • Monitor the work of contract therapists and ensure compliance with department policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Minimum two years of experience as a Speech Therapist.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist License (California).
  • National Provider Identifier.
  • Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate.
  • Basic Life Support required at hire.
