**Job Summary:**

As a Speech Therapist I SH, Inpatient, you will provide diagnosis and treatment of communication disorders under supervision. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

  • Evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders for adult and pediatric populations.
  • Administer diagnostic tests and implement individualized treatments.
  • Advise physician and patient of disorders and develop treatment schedule.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Implement and maintain department policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for new or enhanced services or levels of patient care.

**Basic Qualifications:**

  • Completion of a Speech Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Internship required.
  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist License (California) required.
  • Basic Life Support required at hire.
  • National Provider Identifier.
  • Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate.

**Additional Requirements:**

  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
