Job Summary:
As a Speech Therapist II SH Inpatient, you will provide diagnosis and treatment of complex communication disorders for adults and children. You will ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements, oversee the work of entry-level staff, and support community programs.

Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and administer diagnostic tests to identify communication disorders, voice and swallowing impairment, and neurological defects.
Provide individualized treatment plans for patients, including adults and children, with a variety of communication disorders.
Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans, and provide training for junior therapists.
Participate in developing inservice programs for staff development, and monitor the work of contract therapists and patients in non-Kaiser facilities.
Serve as a consultant on interdisciplinary teams, and develop, implement, and maintain department policies and procedures.

Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
Minimum two years of experience as a Speech Therapist.
Speech-Language Pathologist License (California).
National Provider Identifier.
Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate.
Basic Life Support required at hire.

Additional Requirements:
Knowledge of federal, state, and local requirements.
Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
