  • Worksite Location: St. Cloud, MN

Key Responsibilities of the Financial Controller:

  • Maintain robust internal controls and a comprehensive system of accounting policies and procedures to guarantee precise financial transactions.
  • Ensure all accounts receivable and accounts payable functions are executed promptly, accurately, and communicated effectively to relevant stakeholders.
  • Oversee all General Ledger activities.
  • Conduct timely month-end closings and prepare financial statements.
  • Assist in developing the corporate financial budget and regularly monitor and report on variances.
  • Manage fixed asset activities, including capital budgets and depreciation.
  • Ensure banking activities, including reconciliations and reporting requirements, are completed accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate year-end activities with external CPA, including tax planning and annual reporting.
  • Engage in strategic planning and annual reviews of employee benefit programs and corporate insurance policies.
  • Oversee all project billings and related documentation.
  • Complete monthly Work in Progress (WIP) schedules with over/under billing analysis for revenue recognition.


Qualifications for the Financial Controller Role:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in accounting.
  • Highly organized with strong communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Sage 300 and/or Procore is advantageous.
  • CPA certification is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams through successful audits.
