Electrical Assistant Project Manager

At Cummings Electric, we're revolutionizing the way value is delivered in the construction industry. Our team is dedicated to providing reliable electrical solutions for all project needs, and we're looking for a skilled Electrical Assistant Project Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in project orientation meetings, team meetings, and GC sub meetings to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain submittal logs to track project progress and materials delivery.
  • Communicate and coordinate submittals and coordination drawings with subcontractors and Project Superintendent to ensure timely project completion.
  • Review and process all submittal data and shop drawings to expedite project schedules and materials delivery.
  • Sustain productive customer relationships while meeting the company's needs.
  • Support Project Manager in pricing and selling of change orders.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify problems and potential solutions, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • B.S. degree in Construction Science, Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • One year of relevant construction experience, with previous internship experience a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify and address project challenges.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to build relationships and drive positive outcomes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office platform, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Bluebeam software proficiency a plus.
