As an RF systems engineer at Hermeus, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team focused on developing high-performance RF hardware requirements, creating system architectures, and building/testing RF solutions for our aircraft and ground stations. This role requires strong fundamentals, wide-breadth design experience, and efficient troubleshooting skills.

Job Description
  • SIMULATION AND MODELING: Design and simulate RF hardware for communication systems and sensors/instruments, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • TEST DEVELOPMENT: Develop test concepts and procedures for RF and environmental testing, including far-field and near-field measurements.
  • SYSTEM DESIGN: Define hardware architecture and specifications for RF system blocks, interfaces, and housing, and design, build, and test microwave circuits and assemblies.
  • VALIDATION AND TROUBLESHOOTING: Conduct end-to-end design validation and testing of RF product performance, leading and conducting troubleshooting or root cause analysis for hardware performance challenges.
