RF Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled RF Systems Engineer to join our team at Smiths Interconnect Inc. in Tampa, FL.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing high-frequency components and systems, working in an integrated process team environment with technical responsibility for all aspects of RF/microwave/mmW hardware.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and architecture trades for RF/microwave/mmW hardware
- Estimate recurring and non-recurring hardware and activities
- Analyze circuits and write technical proposals
- Select active and passive devices, design substrates and printed circuit boards, and perform prototyping and verification
Technical Requirements:
- Competent in RF linear and non-linear circuit simulation using Cadence AWR or ADS
- Experience with 2.5D and 3D electromagnetic problems and simulation tools
- Experience with multi-layer printed wiring boards (PWB) design and layout up to 20 GHz
- Knowledgeable of system architecture and block diagram planning of up converters and down converters
