We are seeking a highly skilled Communication RF Engineer for Orbital Reef to join our team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our Space Systems Development business unit, you will play a critical role in the design and development of avionics communications subsystems for LEO missions. Your expertise in communication systems and RF engineering principles will be essential in driving technical decisions and ensuring the success of our space exploration endeavors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop avionics communications subsystems for LEO missions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate communication systems with other spacecraft components
- Conduct RF simulations and analysis using tools like HFSS and STK
- Evaluate and select RF components for use in communication subsystems
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in communication systems or RF testing
- Working knowledge of major RF components used in communication subsystems (SSPA, LNAs, Transceivers, waveguides, antennas, filters, etc)
- Familiarity with space-rated communication hardware/software and how they integrate
Salary Range:
CA applicants: $128,430 - $179,802; CO applicants: $117,727 - $164,818; WA applicants: $128,430 - $179,802
