Position Overview:

The Senior Admissions Advisor plays a crucial role in guiding prospective students through the admissions journey, from the initial inquiry to enrollment. Reporting directly to the Director of Admissions, this position is pivotal in ensuring that candidates receive personalized attention throughout the admissions lifecycle. Our approach emphasizes understanding each candidate's unique aspirations and career objectives, allowing us to assess their fit for our diverse programs. We are dedicated to supporting our students as they embark on their educational paths.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for prospective students, utilizing a student-centered approach to navigate them through the admissions process.
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of our programs to assist students effectively, delivering tailored communications through various channels including video, phone, email, and text.
  • Engage in active listening to evaluate admissions qualifications and ensure the right fit for our programs.
  • Adhere to compliance standards and regulatory processes while promoting a culture of integrity.
  • Contribute to our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all interactions.
  • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and the ability to connect with prospective students from varied backgrounds.
  • Collaborate with departments such as Financial Aid and Student Services to provide prospects with informed decision-making support.
  • Participate in recruitment events and community outreach initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, recruitment, or a related field with a proven track record of success.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Ability to adapt outlines into personalized approaches, demonstrating a strong work ethic.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems is preferred; training will be provided.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • 5 years of experience in admissions or higher education with a successful record of meeting individual and institutional goals.
