Role Overview:

The Senior Center-Based Behavior Technician at Achieving True Self (ATS) applies the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to deliver high-quality, individualized services within our centers while also guiding and mentoring fellow technicians.

Qualifications for a Senior Center-Based Technician:

• Preferred educational background in psychology, child development, education, special education, or a related field
• A compassionate approach with a strong commitment to supporting children and adolescents in reaching their full potential
• At least one year of continuous experience with ATS, providing ABA services or working with youth with autism is preferred
• A recommendation from a current or former supervising BCBA at ATS
• A valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and a clean driving record are required
• A desire to be part of an innovative and growing organization with significant opportunities for advancement

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children in the center
• Mentor and conduct shadowing sessions for new technicians
• Facilitate peer play and small group activities during designated blocks
• Implement treatment fidelity checks and collect inter-observer agreement data
• Provide behavioral support as necessary
• Cover for staff during breaks and cancellations
• Exemplify ATS's mission, values, and beliefs to all staff members
• Participate in the development and delivery of clinical workshops
• Attend community events to represent the organization
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, colleagues, supervisors, and community members.
