IAT Level II certification is essential (SSCP, CND, CYSP+, CCNA+Sec, GISP, GSEC, SEC+CE)
Minimum of 8 years of overall experience with at least 5 years of recent relevant expertise in: Web Services (IIS, Apache, Apache Tomcat)
Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems (2019, 2022), Microsoft Windows 11
Citrix Netscaler
Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Trellix

Service Directories:
Active Directory, DNS, Site and Services

Linux Proficiency:
RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu
Database management including but not limited to: SQL, Postgres, MongoDB
VMWare, Git

Security Information and Event Management (SIEM):
Graylog
Real-time monitoring tools including but not limited to: Zabbix
Data Backup solutions including but not limited to: Veeam, Exagrid

Technical expertise required to maintain existing environments utilizing automated technologies such as JIRA, Confluence, GitLab, Bitbucket, Nexus, Jenkins, Selenium,
Fortify, SonarQube, CodeDX, MS Azure, Azure DevOps, Linux, Windows Server, Ansible, Terraform, Active Directory, and Amazon Web Services

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related Engineering or Technical field + 5 years of relevant experience within the last 5 years. Relevant experience may substitute for the degree. Total of 10 years of experience is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct administration, maintenance, and support tasks essential for optimal information technology (IT) system performance and security
Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain server and systems configurations (both hardware and software) to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability
Manage server-based systems, security devices, distributed applications, network storage, messaging, and perform systems monitoring
Provide consultation on network, application, and customer service issues to support computer systems security and sustainability
Maintain a robust systems cybersecurity posture, including scanning and remediation of cyber vulnerabilities
Conduct risk analysis to identify threats, vulnerabilities, and the likelihood and impact of exploitation
Provide user support and problem resolution.
Understand, adhere to, and promote the values and principles outlined in the Agile Manifesto
Understand, adhere to, and promote continuous cybersecurity risk management

Key Tasks:
Provide break/fix support for the SE2 Infrastructure, support SE2 CSfC solutions, and drive continuous improvement and automation of Domain Services
Collaborate within a cross-functional team for task execution

Automate software updates and support OS/application upgrades, ensuring that any manual repetitive tasks, such as application installation or upgrades, are streamlined through scripting, such as PowerShell or Ansible.

All scripts will be maintained in a SE2 repository.
Define technical requirements based on existing capabilities.

Participate in the ongoing enhancement of the customer-facing portal by offering recommendations, enriching content, introducing new content, and suggesting improvements to business processes.

Document processes or Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for future reference and service desk support.
Conduct analysis and define future equipment needs, exploring the viability of engineered solutions where applicable.
Report and monitor the health and performance of servers. Provide assistance for on-premises lab activities, including hardware upgrades and maintenance support.
Manage, monitor, and resolve infrastructure project tickets with a focus on automation.
Support systems sustained in the SE2 environment(s) (hybrid cloud, on-prem)
This includes but is not limited to: Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Resource management, and analysis

Maintenance Duties:
Operating system upgrades. Application upgrades
Provisioning or deprovisioning
Application or security compliance
Assist in the migration of both pre-existing and new systems.
Technical work necessary to sustain the existing SE2 Environment using automated technologies such as JIRA, Confluence, GitLab, Bitbucket, Nexus, Jenkins, Selenium,
Fortify, SonarQube, CodeDX, MS Azure, Azure DevOps, Linux, Windows Server, Ansible,
Terraform, Active Directory, and Amazon Web Services
Continuous technical support for addressing problems with connections/migrations.
Document customer needs as functional and technical requirements.
Define technical requirements based on user stories or functional requirements.
Create and maintain customer artifacts supporting lab agreements, interconnects, and maintenance support.
Document, review, and maintain infrastructure documentation including but not limited to:
Hardware Warranty Contracts, Software Licenses/Contracts, Physical Server Lists, Virtual server lists, Floor Drawings, Rack diagrams, Cable diagrams, Power diagrams, Access Control lists, Servers/switch Passwords
Lab support includes but is not limited to: Opening and Closing Lab, Emergency events, IDS Testing, Provide support to RDIT Lab, Development and provision of reports directed by USG regarding the work performed on this Task Order
