Key Responsibilities
  • Instructional Strategies
    • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum requirements and cater to diverse learning styles.
    • Provide instruction and learning experiences that promote intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.
    • Use technology and other resources to enhance student learning and engagement.
  • Student Growth and Development
    • Use formative and summative assessments to measure student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
    • Monitor and report student attendance, grades, and other relevant data.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement arts-integrated, project-based learning experiences.
  • Classroom Management and Organization
    • Establish and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student well-being and academic success.
    • Implement effective classroom management strategies to maximize student learning and time on task.
    • Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning community.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, digital media arts).
    • Meet SBEC certification requirements.
  • Experience and Skills
    • Experience teaching or using Unity (preferable).
    • Ability to lead, influence, and hold others accountable to high standards of academic and artistic excellence.
    • Strong learning orientation and desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
