Job Description

Academy of Visual and Performing Arts is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conservatory Director to lead our fine arts programs. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in arts education, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate students, staff, and community partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement fine arts curricula that align with state and national standards
  • Lead and manage a team of fine arts teachers and staff
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure arts-integrated programming
  • Develop and manage budgets for fine arts programs
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in fine arts or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Texas teaching certification in fine arts
  • 3+ years of experience in fine arts education
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
