Position Overview:
This role provides an opportunity to deepen your understanding of eligibility assessment for individuals and families requiring assistance. RevOne Companies will equip you with the necessary training to excel in supporting vulnerable populations. You will gain insights into both state and federal coverage options, as well as private insurance plans, enabling you to effectively qualify those in need of support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn and navigate application processes dictated by state and federal programs.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Engage positively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Effectively navigate various systems, including hospital and state systems.
  • Work independently while managing multiple tasks.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Collect and evaluate patient information to assess eligibility.
  • Prepare and review documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Complete various insurance applications post-eligibility determination.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with RevOne staff and hospital personnel.
  • Uphold confidentiality at all times, adhering to PHI and HIPAA regulations.
  • Exhibit a willingness to go above and beyond for those in need.
  • Show eagerness to learn new and complex tasks.
  • Embody the Mission/Vision/Core Values of RevOne Companies in all professional interactions.
  • Collaborate with management to identify personal learning needs and set achievable goals.
  • Stay informed about departmental and hospital policies through active participation and communication.
  • Work collaboratively with other departmental and hospital associates, supporting their efforts through teamwork.

Qualifications:
  • Proficient in computer skills.
  • Able to learn and utilize multiple databases.
  • Capable of multitasking, including phone communication and data entry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong mathematical reasoning and computational skills.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with team members to achieve tasks.
  • Competent in performing job functions within established timeframes.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • One year of experience as a Patient Advocate or equivalent training and experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Medicaid programs, particularly in Illinois.
  • Familiarity with the Federal Marketplace and willingness to obtain a Health Insurance License.
  • Adept at reading, analyzing, and interpreting rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Skilled in communicating with clients, the public, and officials to gather data and explain regulations.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA and related regulations.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Compensation: $19.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
