Position Overview:
This role provides an opportunity to enhance your understanding of eligibility determination for individuals and families in need of assistance. RevOne Companies will equip you with the necessary training to excel in supporting underserved populations. You will gain insights into state and federal coverage options, as well as private insurance plans, enabling you to qualify those who require assistance the most.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn the application processes established by state and federal programs.
- Demonstrate proficiency in organizational and administrative tasks.
- Engage positively with clients to foster trust and understanding.
- Navigating various systems, including hospital and state systems, effectively.
- Work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Exhibit a collaborative spirit and team-oriented mindset.
- Gather and assess patient information to determine eligibility.
- Prepare and review documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Complete various insurance applications post-eligibility determination.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with RevOne staff and hospital personnel.
- Uphold confidentiality standards at all times (i.e., PHI and HIPAA).
- Demonstrate a commitment to going above and beyond for those in need.
- Show eagerness to learn new and complex tasks.

- Collaborate with management to identify personal learning needs and set achievable goals.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of departmental and hospital policies through active participation and communication.
- Work collaboratively with departmental and hospital associates, supporting their efforts through teamwork and accepting additional responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Proficient computer skills are essential.
- Ability to learn and navigate multiple databases.
- Capable of multitasking (e.g., speaking on the phone while typing).
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Strong mathematical reasoning and computational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members to complete tasks.
- Competence in performing job functions within established timeframes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience as a Patient Advocate or equivalent training and experience.
- Extensive knowledge of Medicaid programs, particularly in Illinois.
- Familiarity with the Federal Marketplace and willingness to obtain a Health Insurance License.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret regulations and procedures.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, the public, and officials to gather data and explain regulations.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA and Red Rule regulations is preferred.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation: $19.00 per hour, based on experience.
