Job Title: Help Desk L2

Our client, a leading financial services firm, is seeking a skilled Help Desk L2 Analyst to join their team in San Diego, CA.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time hybrid position that requires 3 days of on-site work. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience in IT support and possess expert knowledge of Windows operating systems, as well as proficiency in Internet-related applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and day-to-day IT operations
  • Analyze and resolve technical support tickets from team members and clients
  • Troubleshoot systems and connectivity issues, working with vendors and resources to resolve
  • Provide ongoing technical maintenance and support of business applications
  • Set up equipment for team member use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cable, operating systems, and software
  • Train staff and clients in the use of systems and applications
  • Log support cases and categorize them in the ticketing platform
  • Perform basic hardware and software installation, upgrade, configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of business applications, desktop computers, and peripherals
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience in the IT support service industry
  • Expert knowledge of Windows 7/8/10/11 and the ability to install, integrate, and support these operating systems
  • Proficient in Internet-related applications such as MS Exchange, E-Mail clients, Anti-virus clients, and Web Browsers
  • PC Hardware and Software installation, upgrade, and troubleshoot
  • Knowledge of network setup and basic troubleshooting: TCP/IP, VLAN, PoE, VPN, RDP
  • Configuration, installation, integration, and troubleshooting of various network devices such as scanners, fax machines, printers, wireless access points
  • Experience with SaaS, Office 365, Azure, Active Directory, VPN, Teams/Slack, Zoom/Webex is highly desirable
  • Working knowledge of Mac OS and Linux, as well as Ticketing Platform (ZenDesk, ServiceCloud) is a plus
  • Must have a valid Driver's License

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000
