Interim School Business Administrator/Board Secretary Position

To effectively manage and coordinate the district's business affairs, achieving the district's educational and support services goals with available financial resources.
Certification/Degree Requirements:
A valid NJ School Business Administrator certificate or CE, and a degree in accounting or finance are required. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a business administrator in a public school system is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage the district's business affairs efficiently.
Coordinate the district's business operations to achieve educational and support services goals.
Possess knowledge of GAAP accounting, school budgeting, transportation management, food service management, financial management and investments, insurance and risk management, payroll, and buildings and grounds.
Demonstrate strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Lead collaboratively with various groups, including administrators, staff members, board members, community members, and union representatives.
Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and applicable laws.
