Radiology Department Manager

Reporting to the Director of Radiology, the Manager of Interventional Radiology will provide effective leadership and direction to the IR department, promoting a collaborative and cohesive work environment. The manager shall oversee team recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development to foster a skilled and motivated workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Implement strategies to enhance team satisfaction, engagement, and retention.
Obtain appropriate documentation from technical staff and participate in Primary Sourcing to ensure the team is in compliance with State, National Accrediting Agencies, and all of Cooper's policies and corporate compliance requirements.
Foster effective communication and collaboration with other departments, physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care and optimize workflow.
Participate in interdepartmental meetings and committees to drive collaboration, address challenges, and improve overall patient and staff experiences.
Implement and enforce departmental policies, procedures, and quality standards, ensuring adherence to Joint Commission standards and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
3-5 years of experience required.
5 years of IR technologist experience required.
3 years of minimum IR supervisory experience required.
Bachelor's degree required.
NJ DEP license required.
Current ARRT - American Registry Radiology certification required.
Current NJ-BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) required.
Work Schedule
Monday through Friday
