Position Overview

This role is pivotal in addressing incidents, fulfilling requests, and managing assigned tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities

The IT Support Specialist will:

  • Complete tasks within specified deadlines to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Resolve incidents and fulfill requests to minimize customer wait times and service interruptions.
  • Enhance problem resolution capabilities to decrease recurring issues and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Address escalated incidents from the IT Service Desk team to expedite resolution times.
  • Oversee endpoint assets to facilitate the timely replacement of outdated devices.
  • Manage endpoint hardware and software to maintain a secure and stable computing environment.
  • Create and maintain knowledge articles for both customers and internal use to enhance support quality.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

Required:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in enterprise IT support.
  • Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft technologies, including Windows operating systems, 365, Azure, Exchange, and Entra.
  • Familiarity with corporate mobile device management solutions such as AirWatch/Workspace ONE or Intune.
  • Experience in troubleshooting endpoint devices, including iPads and computers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting expertise.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft domain networks.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members to resolve complex tasks.
  • Willingness to travel to various locations as needed.
  • Experience with remote management and administration tools such as Bomgar/BeyondTrust, SCCM, and Intune.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Relevant professional technical certifications.
  • Comprehensive understanding of IT operational processes and frameworks.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this position may include:

  • Occasional standing and walking.
  • Frequent sitting and hand/finger movements.
  • Utilization of office equipment, whether in-office or remote.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
